A world of stories. A friend to talk to. A language to discover.

StarGarden is an AI companion we are building to help young children explore language — through conversation, stories, and play, with a parent close by.

The product

Talk. Listen. Imagine. Play again.

Three ideas, one loop. Children meet words inside a story, try them out with a friendly character, and bring them back in play.

01 Prototype

Conversation

A friend who starts from your child's curiosity.

Characters like Miru the whale greet children and invite them to say a word, ask a question, or simply hum along. There is nothing to get right — only something to try. Voice conversation is something we are building, as an opt-in prototype that needs a parent's consent.

Stories

Stories children step into.

Episode 1, Miru's Little Song, is a short 3D story under the sea. Children listen, tap the characters, and make small choices — meeting new English words in the middle of the story, with gentle Korean guidance.

03 Early prototype

Play

Say it again, this time in a game.

Children collect songs and meet the story's words again in short listen-and-choose games — as discovery, not as a score to chase. Role-play with characters is where we want to go next.

The prototype's song shelf: 'Songs found 0 / 7' above four cards named Whale, Letter, Lumi and Heart, each with a play button.

The experience

Listen → speak → imagine → play it again.

  1. Listen

A short story, told aloud in English, with Korean guidance for first-time listeners.

    Today
  2. Speak

Tap to answer now. Talking back to a character by voice is what we are building.

  3. Imagine

Small choices change what a friend does next, so children shape the story.

    Today
  4. Play again

Words from the story return in short games. Role-play is next on our map.

Our vision

Every child deserves a joyful first conversation with the world.

We want children to speak before they start worrying about being wrong.

Language is not a school subject. It is how a child says who they are, and how they begin to understand everyone else.

Every child is curious in a different way and learns at a different pace. The story should follow the child — not the other way around.

We start from the joy of expressing yourself in a first language, and grow toward curiosity about other languages and cultures.

And we want it to lead back to the real world: a conversation at the table, a game on the floor, a parent and a child laughing together.

In time, we hope to open this door to children of many more languages and cultures.

For families

Built to bring you closer, not to keep them glued to a screen.

Short, on purpose

Sessions are designed to be small and meaningful. We do not aim for endless use or emotional dependence.

A bridge to real life

Parents are part of the experience. We want every story to leave something to talk about and play together after the screen is off.

A companion, never a replacement

StarGarden is not a substitute for parents, teachers or real friends. It is a gentle companion for learning alongside them.

Privacy by design

The current offline prototype has no accounts, no analytics and no microphone access. Anything that listens — such as voice chat — will be opt-in and need a parent's consent.

These are our design principles and the state of today's prototype — not certifications or guarantees.

In development

We're building it step by step.

A playable prototype of Episode 1 exists today. There is no public release yet and we're not announcing dates. If you are a parent, an educator, or a possible partner and want to follow along, we'd love to hear from you.
